Posting Orders and Order of Events

So I've been having a slight problem with the RP. Some of the threads will start with a few people and then a bunch of people join in and it seems like the posting order just goes out the window. I've gotten skipped over a few times and it makes it kind of hard to catch up with everything :/

Also... is there any way we can like date things or something? I didn't even think of asking about this until this past week with the Charms thread. The Introduction thread started before the first assignment and then people started asking when the homework would be graded. But they wouldn't have turned any homework in yet and that question should be in another thread. Does this make sense?

So I dunno...those are just some things I noticed.

yea-you're right. It gets pretty confusing along the way. so yea-this should be a place to sign up for RPs or something.

He makes a good point, but honestly your way of executing that wouldn't help. The problem isn't with signing up for threads, the problem is that once in a thread some people just up and ignore all sense of order, be it posting or time line. Take the Charms thread for example, it's a perfect example of both points he is making. Posting order was blasted to hell in it and even though it took place before the homework, the grading of the homework was brought up which chronologically makes no sense. I think the only way really to help this is to mark threads with the date and enforce posting order.

In other games I have seen people have been required to list everybody in the conversation. In some cases it would be something like Headmaster, Tae and Professor Moriarity and other case would be something like Potions Class because it would be everybody in a class. Within a classroom, potions as example again, a topic could list participants as Auric, Flander, Harada and Morganna the four people working on the assignment at the same table. The drawbacks to this one would be enforcement and making sure that nobody is using it to keep there character from having to deqal with other characters. An example of that one might be : Harry, Hermione, Ron ONLY, excluiding Neville and Padma.
